Do you know of any programs or organizations that are offering free saplings?
Have checked with several local organizations. At this point, we are unaware of free saplings being offered. However, have put the word out, and if I become aware of this being offered, I will certainly post. Please do likewise. Thank you for your interest in this important initiative.
Through the WDNR, Arbor Day saplings for 4th Grade Students:

According to About.com:
Currently, the best place to check for free trees is to get in touch with your state forestry group. They often provide free trees to local and community organizations.
If you go to the arbor day website you can sign up to be a member for $10 and get 10 free trees.
